5e Cryptids – Fresno Nightcrawler

5e Cryptids - Fresno Nightcrawler

Jordan Thompson

The Fresno Nightcrawler is a short, pale creature with a pair of legs attached to a round head sporting two black eyes. These creatures enjoy strolling through the woods, and are often seen in pairs.

Mysterious Origins. Nobody knows for certain where the Nightcrawlers come from. Perhaps they are visitors from another plane, or simply ambulatory pants enchanted by a wizard with a strange sense of humor. They seem harmless enough, but who can say for sure what their motives are?

Going For a Walk. While Nightcrawlers are skittish, they can be observed from a distance. Those who follow the meandering paths of a Nightcrawler are almost certain to find something interesting, such as a hidden cave or an abandoned building. At the very least you will be taken to some relaxing spots to observe the natural world with your two-legged companion.
